Public indoor swimming pool Simmern

A brand new community pool is being built in Simmern, Germany. The design is based on the 2521 concept, but adapted to the specific needs of the users.

The pool will include a six-lane, 25-meter swimmer's pool, a toddler's pool with spray park, and a cafeteria. In order to make swimming fun for as many target groups as possible, a slide was added to the design during the planning process.

The swimmers' pool is multifunctional thanks to a lifting floor and a folding wall over two lanes. The remaining four lanes are designed to be 3.5 m deep to allow the use of a 3-diving tower.
